The Cost of our Choices: Heart Fact #4

Worried about the rising cost of healthcare? Encourage your family and friends to drop unhealthy habits, drop a few pounds if needed, and pop, drop and lock it on the dance floor (or any other kind of regular physical activity). Being unhealthy costs us all a significant amount of money every year.

Heart disease costs the United States $108.9 BILLION each year (including the cost of health care, medication, and lost productivity).

The suggestions I "dropped" above would also help lower the cost of cancer. Today is World Cancer Day and, because of that, I wanted to share the cost of cancer in the United States: $201.5 BILLION!

Something to think about.
